October 6–15

Days filled with Melody…

Isn’t music delightful?!  With just the right melody inspiration can bring ideas. Ideas can bring motivation. And before you know it, something new has been created! I truly enjoy listening to music; and have something playing almost every hour of each day. There is so much new music to discover, and I am on a hunt for some new artists/songs to be inspired by. What artists and songs inspire/motivate you?

  1. Love your leaves – especially the Ginko leaves. Just love their shape! You have created a lot of leaves – good work! I like to listen to music sometimes when I create. I like your list. I like Norah Jones and a lot of Jazz, Country, etc – depends on my mood I guess. I

    1. Thank you, Jill!
Great music selections. I have some of Norah Jones in one of my playlists. Jazz has also been becoming a treat. Though, listening to it while working can become a catastrophe. Country is always a great choice to come back to. Thanks for sharing!

  2. BB, your leaves are beautiful! I’ve been drawing everything under the sun and enjoying my blogging break. Will probably return to blogging more often after the holidays. Love your song list! I like Christian rock music for the most part – favorites are Kari Jobe, Mandisa, TobyMac, Aaron Shust, I could probably go on forever, but I also love Adele, James Taylor, Chicago, some of the smoother current stuff too but I don’t know most of the artist names anymore. hehe. 😀 (Boy I must be getting old lol)

    1. Thank you so much, Laura! I still have the last of the leaves I did that need to be posted. But someone just have run out of time to keep up with the blog. Blogging breaks are so nice. I do miss seeing updates, but come the New Year will look forward seeing more again!
Oh nice music favorites! Totally get not knowing the artist names… don’t think it has anything to do with age 🙂

  3. These are a beautiful selection, Leaf Queen! But, more than 50 when there are only 31 days?! LOL. Keep goin’. Never stop!
Music, yes, always been playing when I needed to concentrate during studies and also like right now, as I’m typing comments on my visits to WP blogs. Today it’s Barbra Streisand’s Partners album; two of my faves from it are the first track with Michael Bublé and the one with Andrea Bocelli, superb! Her son Jason can also sing! His track is beautiful. I’ve been a long time fan of hers. My music tastes range from classical to rock to some country pop musicals jazz, except no heavy metal! Certainly have not heard of any on your list — can’t keep up with it all! Thank goodness we have shows like The X Factor and The Voice and YouTube, otherwise I’d be really dusty. Cheers!

    1. Thank you so much! I never did get to the 50, but still pleased with making it through the challenge.
Wow, such a delightfully long list! I totally agree with the heavy metal. My brain isn’t able to handle all that noise. Thank you for sharing!
