What if you fly?

My day is always made when a butterfly crosses my path. And this year, I have seen so many butterflies floating in the breeze. As nervous energy was flowing through my veins with life’s deadlines, we each need to find some way to let it go. For me, what better way then to let go and allow creating to take over as I paint a subject close to my heart…

There is freedom waiting for you,
On the breezes of the sky,
And you ask “What if I fall?”
Oh but my darling,
What if you fly?

  1. This is terrific! Love the painting and the sentiment and the quote you found to go with it. I love the way you did the background, too. It adds a lot of interest. Congratulations on a beautiful piece.
