Bretta Butterfly, BB.
Freelance artist/designer from Wisconsin.
There is something rather delicious to be able to draw, design, and dream. I use both computer and hand for creating. Most of my current work is geared toward grade school children through designing and illustrating technical instructions for toy kits. Creating hand illustrations for inspiring children and adults in other walks of life still captures a place in my heart, as well. But my deepest inspiration comes from the life of the garden and the little things nature has to offer.
I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells.
Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living,
it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope.

Wow, that you so much!
Hi BB. I’ve just now learned your name. May I ask how you got the “Butterfly” in your name if you care to share.
Also just wanted to say, If I were in your neck of the woods I’d pretend to be a teen and take your summer class!! I have a suspicion that I’d learn a lot from you about art and the farm.
Hi Leslie, I’m so glad you asked! I was inspired to share with others so just completed a blog post about the ‘butterfly’ in my name.
Oh goodness, I am so flattered that you would want to learn from me. I believe I could learn a great deal from you about art and bugs! ❤
The feeling is indeed mutual. I am very fortunate to have met someone so like-minded.
I just read your inspiring and touching post. Thank you. I couldn’t imagine a better fitting name for you than Butterfly.
Goodness. Thank you so much!

It looks like I’ll be back
As always Sheldon
